Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, a day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death, which includes but is not limited to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, or the death of a newborn. This day is observed with remembrance ceremonies and candle-lighting vigils, concluding with the International Wave of Light, a worldwide lighting of candles at 7:00pm.
This subject is so close to my heart.  I have some very sweet cousins who have lost babies and some of you may know that we almost lost our little Henry during my pregnancy with him.  We are very fortunate to have a healthy happy baby today but my heart goes out to all those sweet, sweet mothers who were not so fortunate.  Far too many women have experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby at some point during pregnancy or in the few minutes, days or years after birth.  Please may we remember all these sweet and tended mothers today and all they have gone through.
