Trick or Treat

Halloween was full of fun this year!!!  I am NOT a Halloween person.  I am a Fall person. I love the pumpkins and the hayrides and the soups and the leaves.... I do not like skeletons and scary things one bit.  Over the years I have slowly come to like Halloween more and more.  Still no skeletons and scary things but you can only hope for so much right:)  We did family costumes for the first time!  It was so so so fun!  Towards the end of all that sewing I wasn't so sure we'd do it again but to be completely honest it really was fun to dress up together.  It was especially fun since I actually do kind of look like Lily Potter, Wyatt looks like James Potter, Josh looks like Harry and I think Henry was the perfect Hedwig.  Once in a lifetime opportunity.  We went to the school parade in the morning to watch all the kids in their costumes, Went trick or treating at Wyatt's work, got free smoothies at Jamba Juice, Carved pumpkins and went to our ward Trunk or Treat.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE that our ward does our Trunk or Treat on Halloween.  It is so so so much more fun when you have littles on Halloween.  One hour of pure joy.  They had Chili and Hot Chocolate and all the candy you could dream of.  Maybe a little more candy than you could imagine...  Josh was pretty embarrassed about all the attention he was getting but warmed up towards the end.  Then... du du du... Professor Snape came to our house!!!  Uncle Morgan and Leigh were wonderful enough to come visit with us after the Trunk or Treat and Josh was in Heaven.  Halloween was a Success.
