Jenny's Wedding

The Wednesday before my cousin Jenny's wedding,my doctor gave the go-ahead for travel. Yipee!!! I've been looking forward to this wedding for forever and I was so sad that for a while it looked like I might not be able to go. My cousin Jenny and I have been good friends since we were little and have gotten even closer the last few years. We even had the same name until I got married:) We've always been "the Jenny's". She's been there to help me through so many things in my life. Always a true friend and always there for me. I can't ever keep up. She's always doing more for me than I could ever do in return. Being able to go to her wedding was a big deal for me. The only hard decision was whether or not to bring Joshua...
Traveling on an airplane with a toddler is never fun and not being able to pick him up or chase after him would make it that much more interesting... So after crying all night the night before we left- with my sweet wonderful husband calming me down and telling me that it would be okay no matter what I decided to do- I decided to bring him. I was for the first time in my life so stressed about a trip I could hardly function. I decided to bring him anyways since my wonderful cousin Christy had flights with us and was so sweet and willing to help. It ended up being one of the best trips ever. Christy and I had all kinds of time to talk and have fun and get to know each other better- with Josh crawling all over her.  He sure loves her!!!  Poor girl is probably still recovering. Oh I love that girl!!!
Yes, it was still stressful at times, what short trip isn't- but when I was sitting in the temple watching my beautiful cousin and her husband sealed, it was all worth it. I am so grateful I was able to go. It was a beautiful sealing and reception and it was wonderful to see my extended family that I don't get to see nearly enough. I am so grateful for eternal families and the opportunity we have to be together forever. I feel like the older I get and the more and more I get to know each of my family members, the more I love them. I am eternally grateful for the power of family. The sealing power and power of love and friendship. I am so lucky to be able to have such wonderful experiences and to have such wonderful people in my life.
